This week, we explain how you can easily copy user settings and preferences in SAP Business One. With just a few clicks, you can replicate an existing user’s settings to new employees, ensuring that everyone has the right settings from the start. This speeds up the onboarding process and ensures greater efficiency in day-to-day operations.
After creating user codes, assigning licenses and setting permissions, you can easily configure the initial preferences for new employees’ roles. Simply search for an existing user in the same department or with similar duties and select “Copy form settings”.
In the “Copy form settings to users” window, select the new users to whom you want to apply the current user’s form settings and preferences:
Now simply select the “Copy” button. All the form settings are now applied to the selected users. In addition, you can also copy user preferences, messages and tooltip preview preferences to the selected users.
