Are your warehouses perfectly organized and is every item in its place? This is great, but it could still be improved: with the hierarchical view of the Position Location Contents List report, you can get a detailed view of each warehouse, sub-level or position, with exact quantities and other details relating to the items in question.
To generate the report, select: Inventory > Inventory reports > Storage location contents list. In the “List of warehouse location contents” window, under “Report view” choose the option: “Hierarchical”. You can now adjust the order of the columns, the granularity of the data and much more.
You can also generate the report for a particular item and warehouse from the context menu on the Item Master Data > Stock Data tab.
